This has been the summer of war.
Bring any gun you own to our house and let the war begin.
It starts at 9:00am.
Sometimes it starts at 8:30pm.
My next door neighbor has the perfect porch for a fort.
We have a secret alley down the side of our house.
There are lots of bushes and trees to hide behind.
Beware: the sound effects are deafening.
There might be a body or two sprawled on the lawn in a grotesque shape.
The fighters require snacks and lemonade mid-war.
It only ends when Mom calls "game".
It's been an awesome summer.

How come you never did this stuff when we lived there? Man, cookie Fridays and now water gun fights... I feel like we're missing out!!
