Happiest (and Cleanest) Place on Earth

We took the boys to Disneyland January 23-27.  I love to watch my kids be mesmerized by the magic that is Disney.  I've always hated amusement parks because I'm afraid of the rides; but I classify Disneyland as a theme park: they really do create an atmosphere of magic.  I love it there.  My first time EVER at Disneyland was in 2006 when we took Ethan.
Did you want to see a million pictures of our trip?  Okey dokey.  Here you go:

(We went with our friends, the Israelsens.  Their son Ray is between my boys.)

 Mac and Henry

The most beautiful sunset from the midway at California Adventure.  I think Disney ordered it just to enhance the atmosphere.

Can I just say that I hated this ride?  It was the giant Ferris wheel and we were in a swinging gondola.  Not cool.

A photo of the photo of us on Splash Mountain.  We all LOVED that ride.  Henry Farmer has turned into a little daredevil.  He was tall enough to go on most of the rides...and he did.

Our kids were at perfect ages for Disneyland: no naps, no diapers, no tantrums.  And I was worried about going with friends, thinking we might be stuck doing things we didn't want to.  We've traveled with this family enough though, that we were comfortable breaking out when we wanted to.  We had enough together-time and apart-time.  And it was awesome when the dads could take the older kids on the scary rides while the moms did something more sedate.
Having said how much I love Disneyland, it's not a place that I need to go to every year.  Every 3-4 years is enough for me.  It's expensive and exhausting and it doesn't change that much.  There are so many other places we want to go.
