From 4 to 5

Henry graduated from his second year in preschool.
He is a smart, kind, funny boy who is so ready for kindergarten.
He attended two different preschools, and we couldn't love his teachers more.

Grandma's Garden preschool graduation:

The graduation cap wouldn't stay on for longer than two seconds.  I'm lucky I got a photo with at least his gown on.

Mrs. Brown's preschool graduation:

Henry's best friend, Charlie.

I registered Henry for kindergarten with a little lump in my throat.
It feels like the end of an era for me.
Can I really send this boy out into the world where I'm not his primary influence?

I bought Dr. Seuss' book Oh, the Places You'll Go, for each of my boys, and I had all of their teachers sign the book with a sweet message for the future.  The messages brought tears to my eyes.  I'm hoping I can remember to get it signed each school year and then present it to them when they graduate from high school.
May they always remain sweet and smart and good.

I love the book idea. I may copy you on that one. Jr. high and high school might be challenging, but maybe just 1 or 2 of their favorite teachers each year.
