It's About Time
I hate painting. Hate it with a white-hot passion of a thousand suns. I'm not like my friend, Tricia, who decides to paint her living room a few hours before book group, or who changes paint like I change underwear. I've lived in this house for going on 10 years and have never painted our bedroom. And, boy, did it need it.
With the encouragement and advice of my friend, Holli, I washed walls, filled nail holes and even went to Home Depot (I NEVER go to Home Depot; so intimidating) to purchase paint. Landon did the actual painting; I did all the prep. I'm not sure which is worse.
Holli helped me find art for the walls---I had never even hung a photo. (That tells you how bad I hated the room.) I've purchased new pillows. I actually want to hang out in there now.
I hate the process of shopping, deciding, and decorating. I don't have an eye, or a knack, or taste. Holli is a gem. What room next, Holls?

That's too funny- just this morning I was talking to Creighton and told him the thought of painting one more room IN MY LIFE makes me want to curl up in a ball and cry. I guess 10 homes will do that to you. !
Your bedroom looks fabulous!

Hope you're feeling better!
Love it! & so proud of you. On to the other items on our list.
