That's why I think everyone should write a blog. It allows a tiny glimpse into people's lives and thoughts and experiences. And glimpsing that, I am changed.
I don't read tons and tons of blogs, but I love the ones I read, and loving the blogs make me love the person that authored it.
I read A's blog, whom I already love, but whose blog makes her feel like a kindred spirit.
C's blog, who I don't know well and who moved far away and back again, makes me admire her tiny, lovely family and wish them all kinds of good wherever they go.
M's blog, who was a friend long ago and who's friendship is renewed simply because I read her blog.
Another M who is my friend unendingly who hints at troubles on her blog that make me ache for her.
A's blog who lives so far away and I've actually only seen her in person once, but who I would give anything to be her best friend and next door neighbor.
H's blog, that cracks me up and confirms to me why people are drawn to her, both young and old.
T's blog that craters me with its deep and profound thoughts and who inspires me no end.
And a new friend, S, whose blog I can't get enough of. I read as much as I could in one sitting with a lump in my throat the entire time just because of the beauty of her writing. She's gifted, and how. We just became friends and she's moving in a couple of months and I feel robbed, I tell you. Gyped.
And many more friends in various stages. Your blogs made me want to blog, good or bad.
Ah, the pressure.

Amen. Now I'm hoping you'll add a blog list on your sidebar. Or links.
You and blogging is a wonderful thing. it brings me joy.
Amen, amen.
can i add the 4th amen?
Don't let the pressure get to you. I don't ever force myself to blog because then it's not authentic. Do it when it feels right and you will come through in your writing.
You already do. What fun this is.
