Landon and I were married on Flag Day, June 14, 15 years ago. This past weekend, here's how we celebrated:

Fresh pedicures wrapped in hotel slippers by the fire in our room.

Looking at this view from the hot tub on our deck. (No pictures of the hot tub; it was a no-photo zone.)

Eating food that looked like this.

Watching movies, reading, napping, doing the NY Times crossword with this guy.

Sitting at lunch for the longest time sipping Diet Cokes and talking and relishing the fact that we were one of only 2 tables at the restaurant. I've never lived in a small town and I don't know what it's like to walk outside and have no urban noises. Couldn't believe the quiet-ness.

Walking around the resort and seeing snow on the grass.
Swimming and reading by the pool (we were the only people at the pool; the pool boy brought around cold watermelon and sunscreen and more towels.)

I've never had a more relaxing, rejuvenating, loving, quiet, delicious, pampered weekend than what we had at Stein Eriksen at Deer Valley. We might just make this a tradition.
Happy Flag Day, dear Lando. It seems to just be getting better and better.

Congrats on 15 years! Wow, Stein Eriksen, pretty ritzy. We love to ski at Deer Valley, such a beautiful place.
Holy Cow, you have a blog?! Where have I been...under a rock? Congrats on your anniversary--so glad you got to have a relaxing weekend (even if you did have to rush home for church!)
The best! Happy Anniversary to a truly great pair.
I didn't see Landon's pretty pedicure by the fire! Did you get matching colors? I'm sure glad you two got away, for selfish reasons really....Christian and I have been married going on 15 years, so now I have material to show him that we need to get away. Thanks!
I guess this is an alright excuse for you to not hang out with me!!
Divine. That's what it all looked and sounded like. Love you both.
