Have I ever told you that my mom is in a cult? A quilting cult. She was brainwashed about 15 years ago by her sisters and she's slowly converting her daughters one by one. Quilters are like that; the more people at the Bee, the better. I'm the newest recruit; I tentatively joined about a year and a half ago.
Some of the cult members had a big sew-a-thon at my mom's house this past week. I grew up very close with my cousins and aunts and they're some of my favorite people to hang out with. Do you know your cousins' birthdays and their childrens' names? Landon can barely name his cousins, let alone their children.

P.S. I've been piecing quilts for the boys' beds for the past year-and-a-half and I have one top done. Maybe I'll share photos someday when I get over the embarrassment of how long they've taken me.

I worked on two small quilts - not even twin size for years for Posey and Ian. Years.
I think you all need to get closer and know all our birthdays on this side of the family now. It's time!
