Ethan found a silver colored Sharpie marker ("Did you know they make silver, Mom?"). He labeled a few things around the house:
Some office supplies
A glass vase
A napkin holder
My KitchenAid mixerYou'll find our last name on jacket labels, stools, folders, notepads, games, etc.
So don't even think about stealing our stuff. They're permanently marked. Because Sharpies are permanent markers. Permanent.

I'm trying not to laugh. This is such a boy thing to do - I could see Ian doing this.
Indelible markers are hiddien above the fridge at our house because they are just way too tempting.
Thieves around the nation are so bummed because they were coming for that kitchen aid!
We have the same one - so maybe it's good yours is labeled so we would never mix them up.

Thanks for giving me the laugh today. My kids know not to label things with Sharpies but they like to color and give faces to anything they can find with them. I've always wanted a red KitchenAid, and it's such a bummer I can't steal yours now!
