Last week some dear friends met together for the first time in about 10 years. These 5 people are the only friends I've kept in contact with since high school (and I don't count FB friends). I've seen them individually a few times over the years, but this is the first time all 6 of us have been in one state at one time. These peeps shaped my entire high school experience. They will forever be special to me. We have more inside jokes than any group of people ought to have.
- There's my bestie Leesa, who I borrowed so many clothes from and whose family took me across state lines for the first time in my life.
- There's John who is the weirdest, yet most endearing of us all. I've never met anyone like him before or since and for that I'm grateful. Landon thinks he's one of the funniest people ever. He just moved from Serbia to Mexico with his young family so we're always glad when they stop over in Utah.
- There's Travis who taught me to drive a stick shift and who I had a major crush on (unrequited) at one time.
- There's Kim who is hands down, unequivocally the smartest person I know. She just won a Guggenheim Fellowship for poetry. She has a Wikipedia page. Here's her personal website: www.kimberly-johnson.com. I spent more Christmas Days playing games with her family than my own.
- There's Jason whose house is where we spent every night jumping on the tramp, playing Nintendo, or eating brownies his mom had made at midnight. His mother was like a second mom to me.
Truly I'll always love them.

I love seeing this six-some that I've heard so much about. How fun for you!
