Girls Camp

I just have to say that I've never had a better time at camp than I did last week. I love those girls in our stake and I love the women in our stake young women presidency. I felt like I'd been accepted when the girls offered to roast a starburst for me. I learned every single girls' name. I participated in my first camp skit (it was totally lame). I was invited to join my ward's testimony meeting. I got goosebumps over and over again during our camp songs. I can't hear the girls sing "Walk Tall You're a Daughter of God" without crying. I got a migraine. I participated in a water balloon ambush against the girls. I watched a 12-year-old stuff an entire dinner roll in her mouth....8 times.

If each girl felt just an inkling of what I did, it was all worth it.

(Pictures to come. I just had to get that out.)

Camp Theme:

"Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with surety hope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which hope cometh of faith, maketh an anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being led to glorify God." --Ether 12:4

And THIS is exactly why you're in the calling you're in. Good as gold, I tell you. They're so lucky to have you. We all are. xoxo

You came to breakfast with sleep-lines on your face. You made me laugh more times than I can count. You medicated me. You coached me through those actions to that song that I can't remember right now. I love you, Amy Pharmercy.
